全球記憶體模組龍頭金士頓（Kingston）共同創辦人杜紀川，在台北國際電腦展（Computex）即將開展的前夕，特地來到台灣，展現看好台灣記憶體產業發展的信心。

他表示，大家看DRAM市場都只注意到平板電腦的影響，導致DRAM的使用量大幅下滑，但未來雲端應用，將給DRAM產業帶來更龐大的商機。

行事低調的杜紀川，這次旋風式訪台，也特地安排今（31）日與媒體茶敘，將分析記憶體產業在全球的發展情況及金士頓布局。

杜紀川表示，金士頓成立至今26年，不是單純生產硬體或是純粹以生產製造導向的公司，因應雲端運算趨勢來臨，金士頓將在服務應用端扮演更多的角色，尤其是NAND Flash ，不再只是單純硬體和儲存工具，而是能協助平台端存取應用服務。

杜紀川，出生於重慶，在台灣定居，並到德國留學，移民美國後，與合作夥伴孫大衛，在家中車庫開始創業，展開他傳奇的創業歷程。
