搭檔斯洛伐克長腿妹 謝淑薇雙打過頭關

謝淑薇於伯明翰網賽雙打搶進第二輪，與斯洛伐克好手Daniela Hantuchova攜手，在先丟一盤的情況下，以3-6、6-1、10-2擊敗Darija Jurak與Tamarine Tanasugarn搶進第二輪。

展開草地賽季後，謝淑薇來到英國參加總獎金235000美元的伯明翰網賽，64籤的女單已於首輪出局，而16籤女雙順利於首輪晉級。

Hantuchova與謝淑薇都在年終打進WTA冠軍錦標賽（俗稱小年終），兩人還分在同組，當時謝淑薇以2比1的盤數擊敗長腿妹。

伯明翰網賽兩人攜手雙打，首輪歷時1小時6分鐘，鏖戰三盤擊敗來自克羅埃西亞的Jurak與泰國的Tanasugarn。

謝淑薇賽後於臉書上表示，與搭檔許多次的對陣，首次攜手合作有很不錯的感覺，並表示Hantuchova在單打也打了三盤，表現很積極，人也感覺很棒又長得漂亮，與新搭檔合作總是充滿樂趣。
