「求人不如求己」的涵義

不要把希望寄託在別人身上，俗語說: 靠山山倒，靠人人跑，唯有靠自己努力最可靠。

一切眾生皆有佛性，都可以成佛。所謂的「佛性」，就是覺悟的本能。舜何人也，予何人也，有為者亦若是。

人人的自性本自清淨，念「阿彌陀佛」就是要念出自己的彌陀自性，將自己本身的性能，以拜佛、念佛來發掘，讓句句佛號將失落的自我找回來。

佛法是心法，所以它叫內學，向內求的，不是去往外求的，而是要把自己的煩惱伏住，靠的是自己努力呀！
