肢體突然揮動 恐是半邊芭蕾症所致

（健康醫療網／關嘉慶報導）1名82歲阿嬤，突然出現右手不自主揮動等現象，就連睡覺時，症狀都仍未改善，原以為是癲癇所致，就醫檢查後，醫師確診為梗塞性中風，又稱為半邊芭蕾症，經藥物治療後，已逐漸康復。

半邊芭蕾症會出現近端肢體不規則猛烈甩動，每分鐘達40至60下；屏東基督教醫院神經內科主治醫師詹智鈞指出，這名患者經檢查後，發現左腦視丘下神經核梗塞，才導致肌肉無法協調收縮，經由藥物治療約半個月後，已逐漸改善，但需長期服用抗血小板製劑，控制病情。

醫師詹智鈞進一步說明，誘發半邊芭蕾症的原因可能是中風、出血、腦瘤壓迫、高血糖或服用特定藥物等所引起，經過治療後，也必須長期追蹤服用藥物控制，且飲食上也應避免太油膩等食物，才能避免症狀加劇。

大部分民眾對於中風，多為肢體癱瘓、行動不便等現象，在加上中風引起舞蹈症的病例並不多，更要提高警覺；詹智鈞提醒，半邊芭蕾症多發生於老年人身上，若有相關症狀出現時，像肢體揮動等，這時就算未有其他不適出現，也應盡快就醫檢查較為妥當。
