【短片】出門不必帶卡　靠臉付錢也OK

【綜合報導】國外一間科技公司「Uniqul」最近發展一套新系統，表示利用人臉辨識，可以取代刷卡或密碼，讓人出門購物或加油時，「靠臉」就可以付費。

從Uniqul日前發表的宣傳片看到，此款科技利用人臉特徵、包括眼睛辨識等，來確認付費者個人資訊，進而取代信用卡或輸入密碼等付費方法，讓商家可以有付費新選擇。但是當地趨勢科技觀察家伊斯(Adam Clark Estes)認為，這種人臉辨識付費方法，目前恐怕行不通。

伊斯表示，這項科技花錢又耗體力，商家除了要花大錢導入程式系統，還要幫顧客一一登入臉部特徵和資料，甚至會出現誤差以及隱私問題，因此他認為這項科技在現階段只能算是「突發奇想」而已。
