中華隊前往荷蘭參加港口盃棒球賽

中華棒協27日指出，中華成棒隊動身前往荷蘭，參加於鹿特丹舉行的2013年荷蘭港口盃棒球邀請賽及捷克邀請賽，今年港口盃共有4隊參賽，分別是中華、荷蘭、古巴、庫拉索(荷蘭屬地)，6月30日起將先進行雙循環的預賽，7月7日再由預賽前兩名進行冠軍賽。

為備戰今年10月於天津舉行的東亞運及明年的仁川亞運，中華培訓隊自5月28日起便展開集訓，捕手陳瑞慕因個人因素退出，由文化大學捕手張閔勛遞補。教練團自培訓隊30人中選出24人參加本次荷蘭港口盃，27日晚10時從桃園機場出發，港口盃結束後，中華隊將直接前往捷克，與捷克隊進行3場比賽，於7月13日返台。
