洪仲丘母親胡素真：「我都替我的小孩覺得不值得、覺得心很痛，那我們一路都知道，在軍檢那方面(涉案人)就一路都在串供、在湮滅證據，我們都知道，只是軍方不知道而已。」

胡素真：「我就希望說移到司法，司法可以還我小孩一個公道，能夠把真相讓我們家屬知道，我們對於對這個桃檢這方面，我們轉出來之後，我們家屬是比較看到希望的一面，在桃檢這一方面，他們能夠讓我們家屬有一些真相出來。」

記者：「洪媽媽，當那時候法官說3個人都羈押的時候，妳的心情是不是很激動呢？」胡素真：「我當然很激動，而且我覺得他們真的欠我一個道歉，我一個小孩子養那麼大，人生才要開始就沒有了，我真的覺得他們真的欠我一個道歉。」
