港警加強取締違規行人

香港警務處明天起推動為期一周的「行人道路安全運動」，將嚴格執法，取締亂過馬路的行人，減少交通意外。

香港警方說，亂過馬路的路行人，違規嚴重的將開罰單罰款，輕微的將口頭警告。

警方發言人說，行人常違反的規則包括不遵守交通號誌，在距離行人陸橋、隧道或行人穿越道十五公尺範圍內不走陸橋、隧道或行人穿越道過馬路，以及跨越路邊圍欄或是穿越中央分隔島等。

依據香港警方的統計，今年一到五月，有一千四百七十五名行人傷亡，其中二十五人死亡。跟去年同期比較傷亡總數減少了一百一十六人，死亡的少了三個。
