NBA／塞爾提克進入重建期　將以Rajon Rondo為核心

波士頓塞爾提克總管Danny Ainge能夠理解，為何仍有其他球隊持續與他聯繫，並探詢交易Rajon Rondo的可能性。

塞爾提克將總教練Doc Rivers交易到洛杉磯快艇，從中獲得一個首輪選秀權。接著把陣中重量級明星Paul Pierce和Kevin Garnett送到布魯克林籃網，以換取數名球員與三個以上的首輪選秀權，不過一切靜待聯盟核准。

周一Ainge提到：「有一種假設是或許我們會送走所有球員」。名單中不僅有Rondo 還包含Jeff Green、Courtney Lee、Brandon Bass、Jared Sullinger和今年選秀會首輪選進的Kelly Olynyk。消息一披露，尋求交易的電話蜂擁而至。Ainge表示：「這個假設是也許我們會對現有球員進行全面換血，但我們不會」。

「我們開始讓球隊陣容年輕化。」Ainge接著說。同時他也談到重建球隊不能只靠一群年輕球員和幾個選秀權，其中最關鍵的部分在於Rajon Rondo。但是其他球隊的總管似乎不相信他的說詞，仍舊不停地打電話。

Ainge認為現階段球隊不急著聘請總教練，並再次重申他不會自己接下這個職位。他強調：「我總會接起電話並傾聽對方的想法，但是我們不打算交易Rondo。」
