嘉市九大寺廟 響應以米代金

嘉義市推動「以米代金、心誠則靈」活動，與九間寺廟合作，只要民眾在敬獻紙上寫下大名，隨喜提供香油錢，廟方就會為每位信眾捐一斤的白米給弱勢團體。統計截至目前為止，已經募集近一千斤白米，約可幫助三千人次弱勢族群。

　　嘉義市「以米代金、心誠則靈」活動，是由環保局所發起，合作廟宇之一的嘉義市文財殿今天又捐贈五十斤白米給人安基金會嘉義站。文財殿主委高樑晉表示，「以米代金、心誠則靈」，除了減少金紙燃燒污染，落實環保外，也能將信徒敬神的白米，提供給社會需要的人，別具意義。人安基金會則是將信徒們挹注的愛心白米，逐一發放給街友、獨居長輩、清寒單親媽媽等弱勢民眾。

　　嘉義市以米代金活動共有文財殿、大天宮、朝天宮、北安宮、王靈宮五顯帝廟、南恩禪寺、震安宮保生大帝、先天玉虛宮及慈玄宮九家寺廟參與，受贈白米單位包括人安基金會、慈濟功德會、仁愛之家等。
