台、德簽移交受刑人及合作執行刑罰協議

【胡守得／台北報導】《跨國移交受刑人法》今年7月施行後，台、德為顧及兩國國人分別在德、台犯罪，異地入監服刑的文化、語言差異，今天上午在法務部共同簽署《移交受刑人及合作執行刑罰協議》，使本國受刑人能返回本國執行刑罰。
 
協議由我國法務部次長吳陳鐶、外交部次長史亞平，德國則由在台協會處長紀克禮(Dr. Michael Zickerick)代表共同簽署。
 
吳陳鐶說，本協議是我國與歐洲國家簽署的第一個雙邊司法合作協議，目前我國約有20人在德國服刑，德國則有7位在台服刑，協議簽署後，未來台、德基於協議的平等互惠原則，將儘速辦理受刑人移交事宜。
