台南市衛生局到今天已抽驗全市15家製粉業者，其中8家合格、7 家不合格，封存5598包、重111公噸的毒澱粉，因民眾與民意代表抨擊政府因應動作太慢，衛生局原訂下月3日配合禁菸節在城西焚化爐銷毀查扣的毒澱粉，也緊急宣布改為今天下午兩點半，在台南市永康焚化廠銷毀其中90公噸毒澱粉，剩餘20 多公噸會在一兩天內銷毀。
