王傑擔任山東衛視《中國星力量》評審炮火亂射，學員演唱張學友的歌曲獲高度讚賞，王說：「唱得比原唱要好很多倍，跟『那個人』完全是兩回事，超越了他本身。」還說香港歌手不會唱歌，讓陳奕迅也中箭，殊不知張、陳兩人歌唱實力，早已獲多數華人肯定，還曾獲金曲歌王，王卻連邊都沒沾上。

他講話一向直率麻辣，之前在《星力量》淘汰成龍徒弟胡俊銘，傳出引來擔任節目「夢想大使」的成龍不愉快，拒與他同台；王28日在山西舉辦演唱會記者會，稱自己「不知道與成龍鬧翻了」。

他的「王者歸來」巡演，2010年開跑，走過北京、上海等地，９月28日在太原演出，他說這是最後一次做120分鐘的大型演出，所以格外重視；現場有媽媽歌迷帶７歲女兒為他加油，母女倆都是粉絲。
