美國部署2航母和5驅逐艦隨時可攻擊敘利亞

美國繼續全力為向敘利亞巴沙爾政府可能採取的軍事行動，爭取國會及國際社會的支持，並在海灣地區，部署「尼米茲」號和「杜魯門」號兩艘航空母艦，配合已在地中海東部的五艘驅逐艦，隨時可以發動攻擊。

國務院發言人哈爾夫表明，美國不會理會有其他國家的反對，會自行制定時間表，決定如何懲罰敘利亞。

白宮發言人就表示，美國仍然會就敘利亞問題，繼續同盟友磋商。
