嘉義基督教醫院職工福利委員會為響應嘉義健康城市，在嘉義高中室內籃球館舉辦2013年第一屆「諸羅盃醫療院際籃球賽」，由嘉基、聖馬、長庚及陽明各院組成籃球隊，進行全場循環賽，另外投籃賽鼓勵民眾一同參與，並以通通有獎的方式，吸引民眾。這次主辦籃球賽的嘉基籃球社，未來將規畫院際聯盟，讓更多的醫護人員，可以一同奔馳在球場上。
