酒井法子復出不順，電影「空蟬之森」據稱有裸露和SM等大膽場面，而酒井為了更有說服力，連胸貼都免了，可以說是豁出去，也可以稱讚夠敬業。

據報導，電影中，酒井飾演1名努力掩蓋警察老公過去，心懷創傷的人妻；但情慾戲究竟是與老公或與別的男人則保密。劇組人員則爆料，酒井雖然已42歲，但胸型仍像20多歲，看不出來生過孩子，皮膚白皙，加上大膽的肢體演出，屆時肯定令觀影者臉紅心跳，但究竟情慾戲的尺度有多大，也是最高機密。

「空」片導演龜井亨曾找壇蜜拍過SM題材電影，酒井的演出，肯定還要被拿來與壇蜜比較，電影將於明年上映。
