鬼月前夕 嘉義過溝火燈夜巡

農曆七月鬼月前夕，嘉義縣布袋鎮的建德宮，每年都會舉辦「火燈夜巡」，象徵趕鬼驅鬼，在這三天的活動中，村民會舉火把繞整個村莊，希望透過夜巡維持地方安寧，而這項傳統習俗的火燈夜巡，流傳百年下來，也變成一種文化傳承。

布袋鎮過溝地區的傳統習俗「火燈夜巡」，在週六晚間正式點燈，現場還打造了火燈迷宮，讓當地民眾舉著火把一起冒險，還有小朋友也拿著象徵火把的道具跳舞，非常熱鬧，連嘉義縣長張花冠也跟著一起跳。

現場也同時展出一系列的鬼面具，讓大小朋友參觀，希望大家透過傳統習俗更了解當地文化，而這項流傳百年的火燈夜巡，也從原本單純的趕鬼活動，演變成當地的文化傳承。
