大雨常淹 內埔老街疑「再造」惹禍

〔自由時報記者謝銀仲／竹崎報導〕嘉義山區最近午後經常下大雨，以前鮮少淹水的竹崎鄉內埔老街，卻因兩側排水溝無法消化瞬間大量雨水，大水從街面上方處傾瀉而下，下方處住家飽受淹水之苦，懷疑老街淹大水與縣府之前辦理工程有關，希望縣府能釐清，並協助改善。

嘉義縣府將會勘釐清

縣建設處強調，當初辦理老街再造工程，規劃設計係依原有路面高程舖設磁磚，而兩側水溝除非有毀損修復補強外，其餘原則維持現況不動，內埔老街是一條有坡度街道，水往低處流，應不致出現淹水情形，近期將邀相關單位會勘，找出淹水原因，並協助解決。

縣府辦理內埔老街再造工程，希望重現老街往昔風華，再造工程含排水系統改善、電線管線地下化、示範性店面招牌與街景立面整修，刨除老街柏油路面改舖設強化磁磚，工程前年完竣。
