公路總局研議試辦「寵物班車」，但業者疑慮大。

寵物家庭搭客運屢碰壁，極力爭取開放中大型犬上車。公路總局日前邀集客運業者，研擬在離峰時段行駛「寵物友善班車」，讓無法裝箱的中大型犬同乘；不過，業者反彈，擔心狗兒吠叫、排泄、掉毛影響其他旅客，認為政府立意良善卻配套不足。

寵物友善運動協會執行長蔡志強說，全台三百萬寵物家庭，飼主帶「毛孩子」出門都無法搭大眾運具，儘管小型犬貓可裝籠上車，但限制重重。

今年初，交通部擬實施國道客運全面禁止寵物搭乘，引發反彈作罷。公路總局有鑑於越來越多飼主爭取客運解禁，本周一邀集客運業者及公會，研擬試辦「寵物班車」。

公總表示，鼓勵初期利用離峰班次，開放寵物上車。至於票價，依據現行法規半價以下。若載中大型犬，車廂內需設趴臥空間、綁安全帶或栓鍊子，公總可協助研議合適車體規格。
