太和國小用水 全靠村民接濟

嘉義縣梅山鄉太和國小的水源在莫拉克風災後消失，這幾年全校師生用水，全靠村內5戶人家的簡易自來水接管，無償提供學校使用，但非長久之計，學校人員和家長委員們找到新水源，卻欠缺引水經費。

校方指出，很感謝借水給學校的5戶人家，但村民多非富裕之家，學校不想增添村民負擔，因此積極尋找新的水源。家長委員們和學校人員，日前在深山勘好1處水源，尚待專家評估，且拉管引水經費急待籌措。

此外，太和國小學生45人、幼稚園16人，因偏鄉資源有限，沒有專業教室，校方想購地擴建，地主已鬆口願售，但學校欠缺購地經費，行政院重建會正積極媒合民間企業幫忙，也歡迎有意捐助者和太和國小聯繫。
