不當宅老　爺爺奶奶牽手出遊歡度大人日

【曾雪蒨／台中報導】台中市政府社會局去年十月起，將每月第四個星期日訂為「臺中市大人日」，今天剛好滿周年。社會局特別在仁愛之家舉辦周年慶，副市長徐中雄、社會局長王秀燕跟社區內志工，一早就陪著兩百多位長輩，大手牽小手出門踏青郊遊。銀髮長輩們不但一起DIY做太陽餅、到樂成宮拜媽祖、還欣賞了修平科大學生的歌舞演出。
 
社會局長王秀燕說，「臺中市大人日」除了在機構或社區辦理戶外活動，讓老人走出大門到戶外曬太陽踏青郊遊外，也相當關心弱勢的獨居老人，目前台中市獨居長輩約2300人，生日當月都會收到市府特別準備的生日禮「大人福袋」，內有白米、五穀粉及生日卡片，實施一年來已服務2157位獨居老人；此外，各區里幹事及志工，每月至少會到獨居老人家中訪視一次，「希望以頻繁且持續的關懷，讓台中的老人快樂、健康、又長壽。」
