一手打造天王級潮牌A Bathing Ape的創辦人NIGO長尾智明確定出線擔任UNIQLO「UT」系列首位創意總監，也讓UNIQLO流行化步伐再度向前跨了一大步。

UNIQLO去年初攜手Undercover創辦人高橋盾打造「uu」系列才告一段落，今年隨即找上高橋盾前搭檔NIGO接掌2014年春夏UT設計，UNIQLO日本總公司正積極籌備此系列，在此之前，UT都是透過一整個團隊或是與迪士尼、航海王或各企業跨界設計為主，NIGO此時加入，宣告U牌全面流行化的決心。

自UNIQLO找來Jil Sander操刀「+J」、高橋盾聯名「uu」，還有今年春夏起，前三宅一生設計師瀧澤直上任設計總監，以及Karen Walker與Michael Bastian各自活化童裝、和POLO衫的策略來看，U牌向同業H&M看齊、流行化野心顯而易見。

儘管目前「+J」與「uu」系列合作都暫告一段落，但服飾圈盛傳「+J 」可望再度復活，U牌坦言，目前無確定消息，但雙方的確仍有接觸，為未來合作保留一線生機。

另外，H&M與法國女設計師Isabel Marant聯名系列即起全球開賣，Isabel Marant招牌的數位印花也將在各單品上呈現。
